Commissioning Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate vendor activities during installation, testing, commissioning, and startup phases.

• Liaise with vendors, construction, QA/QC, operations, and client teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Plan and schedule vendor mobilization, site visits, and technical support activities.

• Review vendor documents, commissioning procedures, manuals, and technical reports.

• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications and HSE standards.

• Support SAT/FAT, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and system handover activities.

• Track punch list items and ensure timely closure of vendor-related issues.

• Maintain commissioning records, reports, and turnover documentation.

• Coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during startup activities.

• Ensure all commissioning activities are executed safely and within project timelines

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, refinery, LNG, or petrochemical projects.

• Experience in commissioning, startup, and vendor coordination activities.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, piping, electrical, or instrumentation systems.

• Experience working with international vendors and multicultural project teams.

• Familiarity with commissioning procedures, system handover, and project documentation.

• GCC/Middle East project experience preferred.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
