1. Quantity Take-Off and Measurement
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Measure and quantify civil works such as earthworks, concrete, roads, utilities, and structural elements.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
2. Cost Estimation and Budgeting
Prepare project cost estimates and budgets.
Analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Support tender pricing and bid preparation activities.
3. Tendering and Procurement
Prepare tender documents and requests for quotations (RFQs).
Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations.
Assist in selecting subcontractors and suppliers.
Negotiate prices and contractual terms.
4. Contract Administration
Review contract documents and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Monitor project progress against contract requirements.
Manage contractual correspondence and documentation.
5. Valuation and Payment Certification
Prepare interim payment applications and invoices.

6. Variation and Change Management
Assess variations, change orders, and additional works.
Prepare cost impact analyses for project changes.
Negotiate variation claims with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Maintain records of approved and pending variations.
7. Cost Control and Reporting
Track project costs against approved budgets.
Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts.
Monitor productivity and resource utilization.
8. Claims and Dispute Management
Evaluate extension-of-time and cost claims.
Prepare supporting documentation for claims.
Assist in resolving contractual disputes and negotiations.
9. Project Close-Out
Prepare and agree on final accounts.
Reconcile project costs and contract values.
Ensure all financial obligations are settled.
Compile project cost records and lessons learned.
10. Compliance and Coordination
Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and company procedures.
